Erin Wind (she/her) is the director of the RWC, the treble voice chorus of Richmond Allied Voices. She is a native Richmonder who holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Longwood University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Iowa. As a director, Erin’s focus and passion lies in helping choristers find their voice and building community through choral music. She also enjoys facilitating collaborations that involve new works as a way of connecting our communities through art and music. In the past RWC has worked with local poets, composers, and visual artists in performances.
In addition to directing RWC, Erin is an alto section leader at Second Presbyterian Church, a singer/songwriter, lover of folk music, and continues to sing in Richmond and Central Virginia whenever she has the opportunity.
